Kevin's Custom Vanishing Point

Kevins new custom Vanishing Point is a stunner. Custom built to Kevin's specs. It really shows off the skills of Tonic Fab's painters. I believe they used the famous Studio112 in Portland for this job. The Vanishing Point is Tonic Fab's only road model. Its built with a serious blend over sized tubing with some amazing cnc features and Enve for thrown in for good measure.

48x17 Getting up to some CX in Greece

Agi from 48x17 has been hitting the Greek dust. The lack of mud allows Agi to use his Wide Open which looks like a crusher with fat tyres. I'm loving how the riders are wrapped up nice and warm in harsh 20° Winter weather. Great photos, more here

Phils Libertine at Brighton Craft Show

We sent out some VO mudguards last week just in time for Bespoked Bristol organizer Phil Taylor to mount them to one of his latest Libertine Cycles builds. Little did I know Phil was building under Libertine Cycles, little did I know there was a Brighton Craft fair. Nice bike Phil! Will we be seeing more at the show next year?

Lots of Nagasawa stickers online

We present original Nagasawa stickers. These are not bootlegs. They are the originals straight from the Nagasawa work shop and if your reconditioning your Nag these are the only stickers which will do. Although you can stick these onto whatever you want as long as your not trying to pass off your Korean Corex for a genuine Nagasawa. Available here

Two recent shop builds

There's not been too much to post about recently . Lots on the way. But nothing to shout about this week. So here's some pretty shop builds from the week. A classy S2 with the rare combination of a Miche crank with a Sugino 75 chain ring as well as a ONO speed freak machine. More photos on our flickr

Marcus's ONO

I had planned to release the photo alongside the studio photos of the ONO but my laptop unexpectedly died. The photos are from a few weeks back of Marcus testing out his ONO at Hillingdon. More photos here

ILE Bags now Instore

We've not brought in any new bag brands for a long while but there was no way we could stop our selves from bringing in ILE. ILE bags are built in the USA to last. The style is a functional look because ILE are packed full of features and pockets. ILE also specialise in niche function bags such as their photography packs and rack bags. Available here.

Sealskinz now Instore

Sealskinz gloves, socks and hats are so good once you start wearing them you'll wonder how you ever did without. I treated myself to some waterproof socks and Winter Gloves at the beginning of Winter. The socks are thicker than normal high socks due to the water proof layer between the merino. The socks are not heavy though, I'v found myself on colder mornings wearing regular socks under. With a pair of socks under you can ride through the cold and wet and never worry about your feet getting cold as these things are 100% waterproof. Available here

Leeds Halley-cat, hosted by the North Race

Jacob and I are just off the train back from a pretty hectic night in Leeds. The North Race hosted a halloween inspired event called the Halley-cat.
Sprints, skids, trackstands and a Leeds special...the hill climb. Multi events with points giving individual and overall winners. I really miss the scene amongst the northern cities and events like this remind me why. Almost 150 attending and over 60 riders and not an up-painted face amongst us.

Jacob won the hill climb and placed 3rd overall on 4 hours sleep and some Gatorade. Good man.

Mission Workshop Clothing + Bag Restock

Mission Workshop clothing is now available at Tokyo Fixed. All the clothing, like the bags, is made in Canada and the USA so as you can imagine the quality is top notch. The cut of Mission Workshop clothing is smart and fitted, dare I say designer looking, but unlike most premium brands Mission are using functional fabrics like merino and schoeller to create some quality wear everyday pieces.View here.

New Arrival - The ONO Low Pro

We've received a massive new drop of Tokyo Fixed frames including The ONO

The ONO, Japanese for hatchet is a tool designed for cutting through your obstacles. The Low Pro geometry puts you in the perfect position for speed. The Columbus Max downtube delivers stiffness. The ONO is a rare beauty. The smooth welds are strong and stiff and turns the frame’s steep angles into one seemless flow. The paint work is equally special and is the result of a collaboration with famed artist Death Spray Custom
