Long time partner in crime Babycrow has a new website up. Check it out.

Shop manager Andy is taking care of business... a classy Gary Fisher shirt.

Cinelli Experience Complete Bikes Available Online

Its fair to say the Experience is one of the finest entry level bikes around. Between a super stiff and comfortable and cheap entry level carbon build and a Columbus Airplane Cinelli Experience I know which one I would choose. And UK distro's Chicken have done a fine job building this frame using their other reputable brands such Miche cranks and wheels, a Selle Italia saddle and Campagnolo Veloce Gears.
If you don't believe us check out this review from Cycling Weekly

Available here for £1000.

Broby 20mm Carbon Clincher Rims

When we received our latest batch of Broby Carbons it was these 20mm clinchers that I was most excited a about. Firstly I really like the aesthetics of a low profile full carbon rim, they've got a understated look. From a far the rim looks like a interesting possibly vintage alloy rim but upon closer inspection you find a sexy fold of carbon. But (like everything we sell ;) ) they're not all looks. A low profile carbon rim builds up strong and is incredibly comfortable. Also this rim is light, it comes in at 395g, so matched with some Sapim CX rays and a nice set up hubs... say some of those new Chris King R45's in orange, DT Swiss or like I chose some British made Hopes you end up with a very special, unique wheel set.

Broby 20mm Carbon Clinchers come in 28H only, available here for £365 per rim.

Great Video From the Morvélo Gang

I ride like this sometimes.

New In - Brother Cycles Reynolds Track Frame

This is one serious track frame; steep angles, stainless NJS style drop outs, tight clearance, NOT DRILLED FOR A BRAKE. Only for the die hards. Also and probably most importantly its made from  Reynolds 631. Enjoy here.

Rivendell Ruffy Tuffy & Jack Brown Tyres

Rivendell tyres are all about smooth rolling on fine bikes which can fit a bit of 33.333333mm. They are made for Rivendell in Japan by Panaracer. Both the Ruffy Tuffy and the Jack Brown are tough but the Ruffy is super tough.

New In - SIngular Cycles Osprey

New from Singular. Your basic lugged road frame. Yes its like so many frames you will see on ebay but this is brand new. And with double butted tubing and internal cable routing you can't go wrong with this for your next project. This bike is comfortable enough for long sportives and built right will definitely be light enough but if you want to use this every day as a commute like any lugged frames its tough enough.
Wer're stocking the frame with a one inch treadless fork but we can provide a one inch threaded for those who want something really old school. The build photographed above is a Singular customers build who was nice enough to lend his bike out to Road CC for review, read their initial thoughts here

Frame and forks come in at £565, available here

Chrome - Ltd Edition London Series Bags

Some of the nicest looking bags we've seen in a long time. These bags use a tough tweed style fabric as the shell. But the kicker is the lining, a classy London inspired pattern. Very fine. These bags are limited also so get them while they're in.
The London series has been made for the Yalta backpack and Citizen Messenger.

Selle Italia - Smooth Leather Turbo 1980 - Only £40!

Possibly a Tokyo Fixed exclusive? What's so special about these Turbos? Well these are smooth leather as supposed to the current standard suede finish. We bought these direct from Selle Italia who for some reason had a load left over. Also we are very happy to be able to offer them in white and black for only £40!

Available here.

TF Imports - Rivet Race Saddle

These saddles are a Taiwanese take on the timeless Regal saddle. The thin regal shape lends itself to long fast rides. Also these saddles are surprisingly comfortable with a cut out in the middle allowing extra comfort. Also for the vegans out there who don't dig the leather on the regal these saddles are made from synthetic leather. At £25 how could you say no?

Available here

Devils Punchbowl Ride

I took a very early train out to deep Surrey this morning to ride the Wiggle Devils Punchbowl. The rolling hills pack a punch. Also I saw no Devils Punchbowl which was a little disappointing. On a big plus my newly built c40 rode like a dream.

Tokyo fixed in vogue ?!

Hufnagel Parts Projects

Frame builder Jordan Hufnagel has smashed it with his latest hand made components. The cycling world seriously lacks quality brake levers and components for town bikes. If you ever do find quality stuff the chances are it will be forged or even better CNC but here Jordan has brazed the parts together giving the finished product a feel of classic understated quality. Hopefully we'll see more of this in the future. You can view more photos here

We sent a Histogram and a few bits out to Mikko in Finland a little while back. He's just sent us some photos of the build. The photography is give is beautiful. Also loving the black Dura Ace crank and Cobra bars. View more here

Alan of CWMD's new Build

If you follow the great CWMD blog you'll know Alan got a spot on the famed Yamaguchi frame building course. Alan's been keeping pretty quite about what he built there but if knowing CWMD it was going to be raw. Well he didn't disappoint, he went over kill. That rack will go down in history. More here
