Laurens Dream Machine

John and Lauren over in Austin, TX did a great job building up their Dream Machine. It looks beautiful and is the first Dream Machine in the US. Lots of the parts are Velo Orange but there are a couple of real nice bits such as the Brooks and the White Industried ENO freewheel.

You can see more on Johns blog Prolly is Not Probably

Coming to London Soon

City Series: London from Chrome Bags on Vimeo.

A new London inspired series from Chrome.

Update on the Tokyo Fixed S2

We're getting a lot of enquiries about the S2 frame. Unfortunately this model is for the time being SOLD OUT.

We will be expecting more frames for late November, the November drop will be a slightly updated version of the frame and will be well worth waiting for!

The new version will sport new colours, a slightly updated geometry and a couple other nice new features.

Andy Ellis in Bern

ANDY ELLIS vs BERN from BRASCONA on Vimeo.

Andy's been over in Bern working on a very serious bike project which I probably shouldn't say too much about. What I can say is that the brand is the creation of Patrick Seabase previously of Gorilla Cycles, there will be a lot of Italian made carbon bikes and Andy is riding one in this video.  If you know Patrick and Andy you'll know these guys like to go fast and ride strong on a real variety of terrain. The bikes they are working on will embody all of this.

London Calling - the LCEF fundraiser

The LCEF is one of the most important funds that directly affects and supports a large amount of our friends and customers. The goal of the London Courier Emergency Fund is to provide support and financial help to those bicycle couriers who have suffered an injury whilst at work.
This weekend was one of their major fundraisers - London Calling. A great weekend, which thanks to too much Red Stripe I can't remember most of. Our team rider Tim came 4th in the Friday night alleycat (for which we provided a frame as a prize) and finished top 10 on Saturday! Good lad.

T Level restock

I love my T level infinity rolltop, and now you can get yours too... but be quick, they go FAST! Check out our latest T level delivery here

Our new neighbours - Supreme

We always knew when we moved in Peter Street was the place to be in Soho... it seems New York based skate clothing brand Supreme agrees with us. Their new store (the first in Europe) opened next door to ours this week, and they seem like they're going to be great guys to work next door to. Kids were queueing for 36hours to be the first in!

Nitto Crystal 3 & Slider Stem

Two pretty crazy stems from Nitto. The stem in the top image is the Crystal 3 and the other is the Slider.  The Slider is a classic with a very distinctive look.

Reviews: Milano Acciaio Puro Review at the Washing Machine Post / Tokyo Fixed Wide Open Review on Bike Radar

Any post on the Washing Machine Post is worth a read. Brian seemed to love Acciaio Puro despite some of the parts playing up. A little highlight from the review; "One of the best all-round and most comfortable bicycles on the market today".

"Great all-round fun with retro-appeal and a racy personality" 4/5 Stars

Tuesday's opening times

We're making a change to our opening times. As of this week we will open at 12pm on a Tuesday rather than the normal 11am to give us time to have a weekly staff meeting. The aim is to make the service we're giving even better, so we hope you understand!
