Last Fridays Checkpoint Race

Edit by Jonathon Winstone. This has got me pumped for this Thursdays race.

Richard Loncraine invited me over to talk my two favorite things camera's and bikes. Richards got quite a collection of both. He told me he halved his collection last year and what I saw at his home was the tip of the ice berg. I'm going to do a more in depth write up for the features page but the more geeky might already know what they're looking at.

IRO Framesets in Stock

This is the first time we've had IRO's in store. The IRO's are a perfect entry frame but coming in at 1.8kg (560) with double butted Reynolds 631 tubing they feel anything but entry level. I also like the skinny steel forks and 1" threaded steerer. £250 for frame & fork.

Nocturne

Tokyo Fixed sponsored the Smithfield Nocturne Skid context a few weeks back. Paul Smith & Cavendish were present. As was Jonny Fits who battered three other contestants to take the skid comp home.

Ciocc is Back

Legendary Italian bicycle builders Ciocc are back & their steel range will be available in London through Tokyo Fixed. The steel frames will be almost exact replicas of their classic models, strong contenders against current steel models from Cinelli & Colnago with the same high end Columbus tubing & quality Italian finish's. We will be stocking frames in store & be taking orders for custom frames. Frames start at £950, extras such as chroming & custom colours cost more.

Identiti Persona

The long awaited Persona. These frames are strong & not so weighty at 2kg. Obviously its perfect for freestyle but with the optional rear brake cable runners & space for pretty much any tyre size I bet people will use these frames for all types of riding.

HUF X Dennis McGrath

Huf collaboration with skate photographer Dennis McGrath who happens to also take photo of porn stars. Love those gurls. Available here.

Tokyo Fixed X Nike Tied Together

We were given the opportunity by Nike to build a bike for their Tied Together show. Obviously we jumped on the opportunity to make the bike from our Tied Together T. This is boy hood dream comic book stuff. It came out amazing.

A big thanks to Death Spray Custom, Ricky Feather and our comic book man Baby Crow for helping us make this happen in two weeks!
